Club Officer Training
Serving as a club officer is where the “leadership” half of the Toastmasters tagline really comes to life. To ensure every club provides a high-quality experience for its members, Toastmasters International facilitates Club Officer Training (COT) twice a year.
Officers are required to attend one session in each of the two training cycles to receive credit toward the Distinguished Club Program (DCP).

Round 1(June 1 – August 31) Focuses on goal setting for the new program year, understanding your specific role, and building a cohesive Executive Committee.

Round 2(November 1 – February 28/29) Focuses on troubleshooting challenges, mid-year progress checks on the DCP, and preparing for the upcoming spring speech contests and elections.
Club Officer Training is a chance to refuel, share strategies with peers from other clubs, and ensure your team is hitting its goals.
To get credit for this Round 2 session, plan to be in the zoom room before the meeting is locked at 12noon. Cameras must be on. This will be an interactive session.
